Jocon, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Robert and Kurt Jones. The father and son team both had construction backgrounds and were anxious to begin their own steel erection business. In 1995 they teamed up with the American Buildings Company, based in Eufaula, Alabama. This partnership allows Jocon to offer its customers the best product for the best price. Jocon and American are able to offer what are known as pre-engineered metal or systems buildings. American Buildings uses custom computer design technology. American buildings are fabricated in facilities quality-certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction. American also finish-coats their own steel delivers the buildings to the jobsite via their own trucking company. In this way, Jocon is able to design a building to fit any need and American Buildings can deliver the quality product. Jocon can oversee an entire project, from site work to finished interiors.
